What makes a good session pitch?


DeliverCon follows an unconference format which means that rather than an agenda being set in advance, the people in the room on the day decide what they would like to focus on.

Itโ€™s good to have a think about your potential pitch ahead of time - to help, hereโ€™s some guidance on pitching:

The pitches that have done well previously have had a snappy and intriguing title, often in the form of a question.

A pitch should be:

  • related in some way to digital delivery in the public sector
  • an open discussion where any attendee can contribute

A pitch should not be:

  • A prepared workshop
  • A presentation
  • A sales pitch
